Faithful Cycles: When Church People Throw Stones

Real Life. Real Struggles. Real Truth.

Truth Cycle:

I speak with truth. I speak with love. And still there they are rolling their eyes, whispering behind backs, quoting Scripture when it suits them and ignoring it when it doesn’t. They claim to be holy, but they tear down instead of build up. They follow the Bible when it’s convenient but not when it’s convicting.

Biblical Truth:

Even Jesus was mocked in the synagogues. Hypocrisy in the church isn’t new—but it’s never right.

“These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.” Matthew 15:8 (NKJV)

“Woe to you… hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones.” Matthew 23:27 (NKJV)

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged.” Matthew 7:1–2 (NKJV)

Quick Word:

Don’t let religious performance drown out real faith. Keep speaking truth, even if they roll their eyes. God sees your heart even when they don’t.

The Truth Cycle!
A cycle is a group of verses connected by a common theme or life lesson. Just as a single bit holds a sliver of data, each verse stands alone in truth but when grouped together in a cycle, they form a more powerful and complete understanding of God’s Word. For example, a cycle on trust might include verses like Proverbs 3:5-6, Isaiah 26:3, and Psalm 56:3, offering a full picture of how and why we trust God in all circumstances.
